I'm a failure as a JPOP fangirl! D;

As you could've seen with my recent posts... It's been mostly hot males from the KPOP genre but I am a JPOP fangirl too!

I live in Vegas and there aren't a lot of people here who listen to JPOP (unless of course they're Japanese but the percentage of people of that race in my life BEFORE is approximately... 1). So I didn't have anyone to spazz and fangirl about them with. (I actually did, but she's a KNOW-IT-ALL-ATTENTION-SEEKING-GANGSTER-WANNABE-WHO-IS-WHITE-WHO-COPIES-ME-IN-EVERYTHING-I-DO-AND-OWN bitch. The only time I'll talk with her is when I'm actually desperate enough for a "friend".)

KPOP is a different story... I have a lot of Korean friends in my school so I can spazz and fangirl with them.

NOW... I've entered a school that (sort of) specializes in the Japanese language... At first I thought I'll meet a lot of JPOP fans (more specifically JE) but they we're all "ANIME ANIME ANIME" and "JROCK JROCK JROCK" which I like too but... nah~

And then last week, I found out that ONE OF MY FRIENDS is moving to Japan in our 3rd year of high school, so when the bell rang, I went up to her and said "Are you a JE fan?" and then... RENAISSANCE.

So... Here I am, BACK as a JPOP fan and OFFICIALLY a JK(<-lol)POP fan.

MAAAAHN~! I KNOW I've missed a lot since I've went on "hiatus" as a JPOP fan... Can anyone fill me in?

JE Boys' RUMORED Girlfriends

I repeat "RUMORED".

I'm sure this might be old news to some.

I know some of you might get pissed at me and say "Why is this girl spreading rumors?!". I'm not. I'm actually very happy that my boys have "girlfriends". Doesn't that just want to make other people drop the accusation that they're gay cause I really hate it when people call people that I admire and adore "gay".
It's a bittersweet discovery.

I didn't scan this and I don't know which magazine/newspaper it came from. And, if anyone knows who did scan it cause my instincts tell me that this came from a LJ blog since LJ is filled with Asian music lovers like me, please tell me.

Is it just me or do these boys love to share girls. Maybe it's because that they're so close with each other because of working together for so long that they don't mind passing a girl to the next boy.

Though I was kind of shocked when I saw that Ueda doesn't have a rumored girl. I think it's because he's not in showbiz that much. I'm quite happy cause Ueda my oh most favorite in KAT-TUN and 3rd favorite JE boy has been single. I'm sad though too! That means that Ueda hasn't found anyone "suitable" for him yet! Ueda, please keep looking for that girl because 6 years from now, when you're 30, I want to see those beautiful Ueda babies.

Damn, Korea is really following Japan when it comes to making large (and younger) groups.

H7 is a new Korean girl group from Goodberry Entertainment.

I never knew that a girl group with such AMAZING vocals can ever be produced by any agency out there. I swear, this group has potential! It just that they don't get enough publicity.

Sure it's one cheap PV (LOL) but it's a really great song (for me, at least). I actually saw this PV before but stopped halfway because I didn't like the PV and the girls looked really old...

Everything was so appropriate and right until "shack" got picked.

The 2 hot boys who were fighting for my hand in marriage were Yamada Ryosuke of Hey! Say! JUMP and Lee Taemin of SHINee. So, to me, it didn't matter who will slip that ring on my finger.
Oh, how I wonder how wild that honeymoon will be.

But I'm sure Taemin-ah will have a hard time traveling back and forth between Korea and Japan (The 2 countries I chose to live in).

0n Saturday December, 2005 I went to SM Entertainment for the audition,

I was very nervous but I tried my best during audition...

When I think about that moment, I can still remember how my heart was thrilling with nervous. TT.TT

I became sm trainee before my debut, 2 weeks later, I had another thing kind of like audition to show my abilities to sing and dance.

I was wearing a blue shirt and dancing.

I had to do it in front of all the other trainees .

I was very very nervous and I didn't know when I make my debut but in my mind hard working was only thing in it.

I pass through all the things I learned in sm and became 'SHINee' 's TaeMin and showing in front of everyone.

Right now I am A very happy Tae Min

I will not lose my original intention and I will be hard worker so cheer for me~!!~^^;;;

The "From SHINee" Board translations are kinda super late and I apologize for that. I'm all the way in Philippines now for the duration of my vacation and my friend who is translating for me is all the way in the States. I have sent her a message though, but she hasn't replied yet.

Internet here is also very slow so my pimp posts... I don't know yet, I haven't tried making one yet since I got here. I'll make one after I post this, for my dearest Yoochun... XD

I am kinda bored though. Since all my friends are in school and my parents are at work so I'm stuck at home till they come home. It was the same case last year and I just watched KBS World, Animax, Myx, and ETC, sometimes even NHK. And, web surfing! I can't live without the web. T^T

Oh and... People have been asking me why Taemin doesn't sing that much lines in songs...

I don't really know. But I think it's because his voice is still developing. Puberty XD. Or maybe it's because God already gave him the power to be a great dancer, like Yunho, he's my favorite DBSK member but I have to admit, he doesn't have the best vocals in the group but he has the best dancing abilities. So He gave the power to be a great singer to somebody else. THAT'S JUST ME.

Just when I started loosing faith on SM [since I haven't heard anything about SuJu and DBSK for quite some time], a new group appears, and they're totally polluting my brain!

This group is really popular. I forgot when but they had a fan meeting with 800 fans and they passed out lollipops. [I want that lollipop!] They even surpassed Wonder Girls - So Hot "crunch" at crunchyroll. They have 3 LJ communities. And, 2 YouTube subbing groups.

Alot of people thought they were Chinese, they' re not. All of them just know how to speak Chinese and a couple of their members are said to be studying in Beijing. As far as I know, they're all Korean.

Let's start with their debut single: Noona is so pretty (Replay)

I love this song a lot and I'm in the process of memorizing it [:3]. It's kind of hard though since different voices and different lines start overlapping at the end of the song. I'm not saying it's a bad thing though.

I wasn't expecting them to sing live at their debut performance at Inkigayo on May 25 [2008]. I'm not saying they have bad voices but usually groups this young never sing live. I was really amazed. I didn't see anyone make a mistake during that performance.

[I'm not really quite sure about this one since the height measurement says 177cm but if you see this interview he definitley looks the shortest.] ~~He is the shortest member in the group, though that hat does make him look taller~~. I wasn't really that interested in Onew in the beginning, it took me a while for me to adore him. It also took a while for me to memorize his face and that's because in one of the promotional pics, he was wearing shades. I'm definitely looking forward to how Onew will lead this new group of hotties. He has one of the best voices in the group by the way. ~~I wanna squeeze his butt.~~

Jonghyun really doesn't look korean to me [Is he half white? half chinese?]. His look definiteley makes him stand out, in fact he was the first one to catch my attention. He is one of the popular members among us internet fangirls. His look and his voice really entices me. He looks to me one of the muscular members of the group.

I can't find the right word for it, but there's something about his voice. I would love for him to showcase his personality in talk shows. [But, that's gonna have to wait since they aren't in any talk shows yet.]

It's certain... 4 people in the group are wearing heel lifts to match up to Minho's height [XD I don't see any problem with that though]. I don't know if Key rapped in Replay but I know that Minho did [That was him right?]. I loooooooove Minho's big brown eyes, especially in the MV, I couldn't help but stare at it whenever he has a cameo. And, his lips are oh so kissable. Don't forget the smile!...... No wonder this kid has the "Charismatic Image". Last but not the least, he looks part Filipino.

Although he look like Heechul, I think he look Japanese, though Heechul doesn't look Japanese [?]. I love the smirk on his face whenever his in the center of the stage showing of his awesome dancing skills. I love his smile. I love his bouncing coconut shaped hair. I love his cute face. I love everything about him [His sitting right beside Yama-chan in my heart. XD]. He's definetley one of the popular members, just listen to the people scream his name in this interview [but we can't be certain since only 2 people talked]. Another cute boy my age to fangirl about!!!!!! I doubt he's had a girlfriend, and I doubt he will in the next couple of years... he'll be a Changmin! Wonder girls vs SNSD

I know, some of you might be thinking "Not another one..."

I'm just really curious.

I've been to plenty of forums, all of them with different answers.

I personally like Wonder Girls more. I love their songs and their all pretty. I don't know them in real life but they look pretty humble. I haven't heard anything bad about them

I like SNSD too but only for their music. Their songs doesn't have a lot of variety, it's all bubblegum pop but I have to admit, they're all catchy. I've heard a lot of rumors that SNSD are really snobby and diva-ish, hearing those from people, really made them a turn off for me. Plus, that accusing DBSK of sexual abuse thing just really ticked me off.

Hollywood Bowl 2008

How can I be so stoopid?! It's 12:!4 AM already and I only remember now that the Hollywood Bowl was today.

That means... DBSK and Super Junior are at least 5 hours away from me! And where was I? At my aunt's house eating ice cream at the same time telling my cousin about the treacherous ways of Korean fangirls ~~and boys.~~ [She's a Kmusic newbie.] And, factoids on DBSK.

I have a feeling on what they're doing right now. They're probably at some night club losing their sanity because they don't have to worry about that here. They could also be talking to Rain about the ways of the American entertainment industry. Oh, what a sight that would be!

Or they could be at their hotel rooms talking about the concert and talking about their non-korean fans that they didn't think existed.

I'll definitely DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY make it to next year's Hollywood Bowl.

Aaah, Yama-chan is now 15.

I can't believe it, my favorite Johnny boy is now 15 [Well, I'll be 15 soon too. ~~I revealed to you my age.~~].

He's getting cooler and cooler by each passing moment.

It's only 6:00 AM in Japan now, so, he's probably just waking up or still sleeping. But, I'm sure that his fellow members [Most probably Yuto.] have sent him a message on his phone saying "Otanjoubi Omedatou Yamada!" and Yuto's would be "Yamachan!!! Otanjoubi Omedatou!!! \(^o^)/ ｷﾀ━━━━━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━━━━━!!!!! ~~with a bunch of hearts~~." I wish I could send him one too but unfortnately with our lack of communication, It's never going to happen. *sigh*

I wish I could send him a letter like Kamichan did, but I don't know how to write kanji, I know hiragana but the only thing I can write there "[Konnichiwa! Atashi wa ****** desu. Otanjoubi omedatou Yamada-san.]" *sigh*

Or, I can send him a letter in English saying how much I adore every single thing in and on him. Then, he'll Keito to translate it for him... NEVER!!!!! No one must ever read my revealing letters to him ~~or he's just gonna keep it with him but never ever read it cause he can't understand it.~~

Hey! Say! JUMP Debut&Concert Ikinari! in Tokyo Dome

I got my DVD today. It was actually in the mailbox since yesterday but I just cheked it today.

I loved watching the 2-hour concert. Plus, it had some scenes that were taken from previous events that they participated in, more specifically the Vollyball Tournament, which can be found in the 2nd disc.

If you're gonna use Windows Media Player to play your DVD, you might need to change your "region" to "Region 2" inorder for it to play.

Here are some stuff that I remember from watching:

DISC 1: Tokyo Dome Debut Concert
- The concert starts with the members riding a huge dragon, their introductions were done in English but I couldn't understand it cause of the slight Japanese accent.
- After the introduction, they're secreted from the dragon's butt and start singing UMP.
- As mentioned by other bloggers, most of the paeopl in the audience has a Yama-chan uchiwa.
- I finally here Inoo's singing voice as he sings the line "todo ketai" a little bit higher than Takaki and Daiki.
- H!S!J members introduce their then fellow juniors that are now their back-up dancers:

- A Yuto solo.
             - Gives off a Love Addiction because of the smoke and green lasers.
             - He grabs a mask and covers Question?'s drum player's face with it and he starts playing the drums.
             - Yuto gets into a cage and magically disappears.

In conclusion, it's great DVD with fun behind-the scenes and cute moment that one H!S!J fan must watch or if you're a fan of any of the Jr. groups, they are featured here a lot so, you should buy this DVD too.

Yamashita Tomohisa

Most commonly known as Yamapi came out of the sac today, not exactly sure of the exact time but it was today, April 9th.

Yamapi is my 2nd favorite [after Koyama] NewS member. I forgot where and when I first saw him, it was definitely around the ending days of November at wiki.theppn.

Now, when a Yamapi fan thinks of Yamapi, the first thing that pops out of their head is "lips". I don't know about you but Yamapi could be the best promotion representative for KAT-TUN's lates single "Lips" [corny, I know.]. Yamapi really knows that fans crave his lips, in fact, the fans crave his whole mouth. Yamapi's mouth is "well-trained". He purses it, he licks it, he does that tongue action thing, and he does other irresistible stuff with it.

Another Yamapi charm point are his eyes. His eyes are like the most perfectly shaped eyes I've seen so far, they sparkle too. They're so big and sparkly that you can't help but dig through his super round pupils to see if there's anything there [I don't know what that "anything" is, but I certainly look for it.]. The eyes really are a window to the soul.

You have to admit that Yamapi has one of the hottest bodies to ever exist in Johnny's. He has the most... astonishing pecks and the most chiseled ass [Now, should astonishing and chiseled be switched around? I DON'T THINK SO.], if you see the ANAN pics and the Kabachitare clip, his ass really is chiseled [I have the AnAn pics and the Kabachitare clip but I can't show it here, there are children around.] For now, let's admire Yamapi's moobs.

At first, I didn't understand why people loved Yamapi so much, was it because he's the leader? But, as time went by and I watch countless music videos and interviews, I began to understand why Yamapi is the most popular NewS member and possibly out of the whole JE.

He has so many "charm points" embedded in him and I only named 3. Another one would be his teeth, yes, it's a crooked set of pearly whites but he doesn't smile and always covers it with his mouth that you never see it and it makes you want to see it.

I'm sure there are more Yamapi charms to be discovered and I can't wait to find out what they are.

This ends my Yamapi Bday tribute for I there is school tomorrow.

Also known as Eunhyuk, opened his eyes 2 days ago [April 4th].

I do prefer the name Hyukjae but he had to change it because a kcomedian had the same name. Isn't Hyukjae fun to pronounce?

I first layed my eyes on ~~Eun~~Hyukjae in Super Junior: Full House, in the first ep, he was wearing his "U" shirt and doing the "No No No" with his finger and he was in the middle of Eeteuk and Donghae.

I didn't appreciate him at first but as I saw him more and more in Full House, I began to enjoy his look and personality more. He's really dorky and gullible and often times gets bullied by her brothers [SuJu].

Even though he gets overpowered alot, his brothers respect him for his very skilled dancing and rapping.

Another Eunhyuk feature you should never forget is his smile, after Kibum I think he has the best. And yes, he has big teeth and big gums but that makes his smile even more special.

You might not know it Eunhyuk but you are one of my all-time favorite SuJu member. Saranghae~!

It was Keito's birthday on April 1st.

I really feel bad for the dude, I mean, not only do people don't believe it's his birthday but also he might be getting gifts that are probably empty as an April Fools thing.

I didn't see Keito backdance in the Music Station perf of "Hey! Say!". First vid I saw him was in the UMP video, back then, when he was un-Johnny-nized. Screencap by kamichan_ya3

I really can't say much about Keito. He might not know what he's doing yet and he might not know why he wants to be a singer other than "defeat his dad". He definetley stuck out to me more when he was un-Johnny-nized but I definetley prefer the Johnny-nized Keito because I'm used to seeing male Japanese artists look like the way he does now.

I'm sure he's becoming more and more popular each day, slower than others, but he is. He's absolutely more popular on the internet than in Japan.

I know I've been callling him "Takagi" in my previous entries, that was just for fun.

It was Takagi's tanjoubi on March 26. It is kind of late.

I first saw Takakgi in the "1st generation [? XD]" Hey! Say! 7 PV "Hey! Say!". I, personally thought that he was like 5 years older than the other members [Ryosuke, Arioka, Yuto, and Chinen]. It wasn't his fault, it was his hair's fault.

Then, I started liking him little by little in the UMP PV. He didn't look any better there but I loved the shorts he was wearing, it totally made him more eye catching. Also, the appearance of Yabu made him look less old. [Forgive me, this was when I just entered the Johnny's Fandom.] Screencap by kamichan_ya3 .
Just when I started appreciating TakaGi more, I see these 2 pictures:

But, that's the past and this is the present. And the present is: his 18, has graduated from high school, Johnny has forgotten about Takagi's "racy" pics and he's one of the sexsiest Johnny's "Jr." I've seen [aside Yama-chan.]

DBSK - “O”‐正・反・合

If it wasn't for this song AND Super Junior, I wouldn't have gotten into DBSK aka Tohoshinki, I prefer calling them DBSK though.

I've been obsessed with DBSK for an approximate 3 weeks now, watching all their subtitled interviews, extras, and other shenanigans that they do that are, of course, caught on film.

I've heared of DBSK for a while now, I've known of this group's existence for like 7 months already [?]. But, I never really payed attention to them, I think it was because I was so into Japanese boy groups and bands at that time that when I read the Wikipedia article on them, I never went past the words "TVXQ, an acronym for Tong Vfang Xien Qi (東方神起), is a quintet South Korean boy band formed under SM Entertainment..."

This is the Japanese version of the video, and it's in autoplay and loop, so you can watch and hear it over and over again without having to press the play button or drag the little dot thingy back to it's origin.

I do quite actually prefer the Japanese version of this song, maybe because it was the version that I heared first. The Korean version just sound so... different to me [so did the Chinese version of SuJu's "U" single], and that's the same thing [or something along these lines] that people who heared the Korean version first would say.

The MV:
The choreography is so friggin' cool! I can't help but concentrate on their moves whenever I watch it. The setting is also "wow". And the lights at the back that just randomly blinks gives this effect that you have whenever your eyes start twitching. And the grid-ded wall at the background is also "ooh". Wouldn't it be actually ~~arousing~~ when DBSK members start popping out of a wall and start doing their slick dances and sing with their flexible voices? [When I say "flexible", I mean that their voices fit any genre of music.]

Changmin's mime-y movements with the letter "O", Yoochun's "you're crazy" finger movement thing, Jaejoong's ~~breast~~ chest popping in the beginning [LOL, no, he doesn't have breast, that was only a joke. XD], Yunho's solo dance parts, and Junsu's dance part where it looked like Spider-man was his big fan so he attached one of his webs on him, then pulled him to the front, cause Spidey wanted to see Junsu that bad [I couldn't describe the part in simpler words XD.... It was towards the end.].

The Song:
Does anyone have the english translation of this song?

Anyways, I love the beat. Whenever they start singing the "Ooooh" part, I can't help but sing "Ooooh" too. I'm still in the process of memorizing the lyrics. ~~Pray for my success~~.

Then there's Changmin's "Eien ni" and "Dakara Ima~". Yoochun's "Gotta go Gotta go". Jaejoong's "Kagayaku darou" and "Ka keshite". Yunho's "Wooh~!" and ALL OF HIS OTHER LINES [Yes, Yunho's my favorite :D]. And, Junsu's "All right". Are lines that are always stuck in my head. [I know that these particular sentences aren't formed right, XD].

Gotta go Gotta go fix my bedroom cause my friend's gonna come here tomorrow.

Order of members in this entry has nothing to do with my fave, as I've stated Yunho is my fave and I never placed him first.

Hey! Say! JUMP Calendar 2008-2009

I have no idea if it's already to late to tell you my H!S!J Calendar review but I'll do so anyway.

These scans were provided by Happy Town.

The format of the HSJ Calendar comes in photobook form which is protected by a box that has HSJ's group photo on it.

The photobook's main theme color is pink and I'm not really a big fan of pink but I think it goes really well with the calendar and it's audience [which are mostly girls, doi.]

I like the cover a lot. It might be the face of false excitement but they all look really nice in it and that's all that matters.

Group photos: My favorite group photo is the one where in they were wearing the letters that spell "Hey Say JUMP". What I love about the photo is that it's just really cute and from the mini pics surrounding it, it looked like they were having a lot of fun when they were shooting for this picture.

Don't worry, nobody tore out a page from your HSJ Calendar, this pic is from a Myojo issue, I'm not sure which. I just also found it in Happy Town's link.

Hey! Say! 7 photos: The HS7's photos were themed in a middle school. It's just more great photos to begin the photobook. I've tried imagining them in their school uniforms but they never looked this great in my mind. Then the drawings on the black board made me laugh really hard.

First, Chinen looked like he was drawing something really cute and happy but the finished product is a coffin. Ryutaro's picture was supposed to be something round with wide open eyes but it ended up being a yellow round thing with closed eyes and a hat. Then, Keito's picture first had a sun, it ended with a moon with stick people holding hands, and I expected his script to be better than that. Yuto's drawing looked like it was the only that didn't change. And Yama-chan's rainbow is the best, perfectly made rainbow I've seen in my life. Their drawings were really cute especially Keito's stick people.

Hey! Say! BEST's photos: Their pics were shot in the streets of Tokyo [? IDK]. They were their just chilling out. There's nothing special in it but like when I saw those HS7 blackboard drawing, I kind of thought that they were gonna paint some wall or something along those lines, but they didn't.

My favorite member pictures:

My favorite Yabu pictures is one of the first solo pics. I like this pic because, I don't know if he meant to do that facial expression or if that's just his fake smile but his face looks like it's saying something, I don't really know what. It looks like an "Oooops!" face to me [XD].

I loved all of Takagi's pics, I love them so much that they became my favorite even though I'm not a big Takagi fan. Even though most of his pics have the same smile, if you look at the other members' smiling pics, his pics didn't looked like it had a force smile at all. It looked like he was having a lot of fun in most of the photoshoots, and that just made me smile. And, I can't help but laugh along with him whenever I see his pictures.

Inoo's pics were very pretty as usual. And I don't have anything to say to his pics other than they are very pretty. Inoo's one of my fave HSJ members and he's just... really very pretty. This is my favorite Inoo pic because he looked so Korean in it and I've kind of had this perception ever since I was a kid that male koreans have the most good looking genes ever. I don't know if Inoo has these "genes" but this pic made him look Korean and I like his hair in this pic.

I have 2 favorite Yaotome pics. The first one is the one where he was doing a "peace" sign behind Inoo in one of the HSB group pics. I thought that pic was just really cute. My second favorite Yaotome pic is this one because, again, it 's really cute. Yaotome is just a big 17-yr-old body filled with humor and cuteness, making him, also, one of my favorite HSJ members.

I liked all of Arioka's pics. This one is my favorite pic because I've never seen his chubby, cute face look so serious before.

Keito, the now Johnnyfied Keito, is hot. I'm not a big fan of Keito but he's okay. He's growing on me slower than a snail can reach the 2nd floor of my house but he's growing on me [:D]. I think everyone thinks this is one of the best pics of not only Keito but the best pic in the calendar itself. If you don't have the calendar, this pic is a must have. It's a picture that gives you a refreshing feeling whenever you look at it. So, show it to your husbands when they get home from work. [ROFLMAO]

Yama-chan!!!! My oh so ultimate favorite Johnny boy. All of his pics... breathtaking! I looooved all of his pics. Especially the ones where in he is smiling, his eyes, oh his chinkified eyes. I wouldn't ask for more off of a man's eyes. ALL OF HIS PICS ARE MUST HAVES!!!

What would you expect from the most featured Johnny's Jr. of all time? Yuto's pictures are good not bad nor were they great. That being said, you still won't get sick of his pictures. This is my favorite Yuto pic because it reminds me of the very first pic I saw of him, he had that same smile.

This is my fave Chinen pic because I think it's his manliest looking pic, I mean you don't see a girl squatted like that in an official photobook picture now, do you? It's pretty and manly at the same time. Where do you see so many Chineness in one pic? I'm not really a bog fan of Chinen. I USED to be...

I'm also not a big fan of Ryutaro, I also used to be but, I have no idea what happened. I guess, the "flavor" he used to rub on my tastebuds died [?LOL]. He looked like a really old sagging guy in his first solo pic though, where in he was wearing white. But I like this pic because it shows his childish side, which I think he doesn't really show on cam.

I like the calendar a lot. If you're the type of person who buys things just to see the pictures, you should really buy this. I would recommend it but not as much as the NEWS Calendar [LMAO].

Nihonmachi

I just got back from San Francisco last night and it's my first time going there!

It's a really nice place to visit and it's very different from where my location is now. The air smells really nice, I wish I live near a bay!

On my 3rd and last day in San Fran, we went to Nihonmachi [Japantown]. As much as I want to go there on my first day my aunt and my older sister just wouldn't insist. I mean, I'm battling against 2-anti Japan addicts here, I was bound to lose.

If you haven't been to San Fran or you have and you didn't know there was a Japantown, I suggest you visit it. It's a fantastic place to go to, especially if you're in the pool of Japanese related addiction [culture fandom, food fandom, anime fandom, trinket fandom, clothing fandom or especially Johnny fandom], you'll really love it there. I know I did.

So, in Nihonmachi is Japan Center which are two malls seperated by a tall pointy shrine like structure. The two malls' names are Kintetsu Mall and Miyako Mall. I went to Kintetsu Mall [KM].

As you enter KM, you will see a lot of restaurants, unless you want to eat, I suggest you keep walking forward because you will see a couple of small stores in there.

I didn't get to see all of the stores, one, because I was hooked in Kinokuniya Bookstore and, two, we can only park in our parking spot for 30 minutes [stupid park meter].

Well, anyway, I bought 2 magazines, Myojo and Duet both March issues. I already saw the Myojo March issue from my Japanese friend before, but I had to buy it since there were stickers on it. The reason why I bought the Duet magazine is because it had a poster of HSJ in it, I've been looking for a Johnny boy related poster for a long time, it was supposed to be the NEWS poster that came with the calendar but it was to small, so I decided to settle with this HSJ one. I wanted to buy all the other mags too [Poatato and Wink Up] but I didn't have enough money, if I used my credit card on all 4 mags my mom would shoot my right eye.

They also sold calendars and I want you to guess how much they are...

Done guessing?

$27 for each except for the Arashi one which is $30, now I don't know about you but that's hella cheaper from the Yesasia ones but then of course if you're desperatley looking for one, you wouldn't fly all the way to San Fran would you?

I'm just saying that, if I knew I was going to San Fran before I purchased the calendars from Yesasia, I wouldn't have spent $30 or more on each [although they are worth it, except for the KAT-TUN one, I'll never forgive the KAT-TUN calendar]. Oh how I wish I could turn back time.

In the end it was a really fun trip, and I want to go back. Mostly because of Nihonmachi.

I will do my review on the HSJ Calendar tomorrow, even though it is already late to do one but if I have time today, I'll do it today.

NEWS Calendar 2008-2009

The NEWS Calendar that arrived yesterday!

This is gonna sound dumb but I couldn't get the concept of "My Favorite, Your Favorite" until I looked at all the pictures for 2 times. Turns out that the stuff at the back of each member picture was something that is that member's favorite. I get it, I get it.

Again, these comments are my personal opinions.

Let's begin with the poster shall we?

I personally thought that the poster was gonna be bigger. I really did hope it was gonna be bigger. But other than that, I like Yamapi trying to be unique in the picture but why does he have to? They already looked good in the poster as a group if he didn't grab his collar. It just didn't suit the group pic at all.

I didn't know that date was gonna start at January until I opened the packaged but I feel sorry for Yamapi and Nishikido because their calendars won't be used until July and August but I'm gonna be putting it up, of course, just to see their face.

Yamapi's : First of all, I love all of his pictures on the coaster mostly because of his lips [except for one when his back wasn't facing us]. Second, he looked good in all of his pictures. And, I just couldn't help but stare at his lips. One of Yamapi's "favorites" [that is the purpose of the backside right?] is sushi and I love sushi, especially the tamago one and sahimis. Actually, most of Yamapi's favorites are food. He's doing January and July by the way. And, Yamapi's coaster can is white, white is good color for him. [XD I don't know what the hell you call it.]

Nishikido's: Ryo-chan is doing February and August. I like the fact that he's doing February, I mean every Japanese woman must be wantinG him to be their date, right? And, the color of his coaster can is black, which I think definetly suits his personality. I didn't like Ryo's coasters because they were all side profiles and I couldn't see his handsome face that I love so much. Of course, Ryo's pictures on the calendar were good, side profile or not, because it's a face close up and the cousters were full body shots and I would've just loved it if I saw his face. Of course, Ryo's guitar is on it, the guitar is... I want one! Then, there are these green veggie like things, he probably loves those, okay Nishikido, whatever you say. [XD]

Koyama's!: If you've read this post, you would know that Koyama is my favorite NEWS member. I was so happy when I saw that Koyama is doing March [because I got this calendar in March] and September [the month of my birthday.]. His can color is Orange [or red?], and I think orange/red is a good color for his child-like personality. I looove Koyama's coasters, his poses showed alot of his personality and I just love it when my favorite JE boys pose in a way that represents their personality [cause most of the time JE boys pse to look good]. His calendar pictures are so... he looks amazing in it, period. Then I saw the back, there is a watch there surrounded with diamonds, [I have no idea if it is real or not but...] woah. I have no idea what that pink thing is. BANANAS? I was lauging so hard when I saw bananas on there. It was kyoot.

Massu's: Massu is doing April and October. And, I love his coaster color, Yellow. Yellow is such a cute color that suits him a lot. I liked Massu's coaster picture, it's like showing him dancing and we all know that he's the best dancer in NEWS. And, he looked really hot in his calendar pictures. But, I was kind of dissapointed that not one of his calendar pictures was he smiling, I mean, I love Masuda when he's smiling, what happened? Ryo who we don't normally see smiling was smiling in one of his calendar pictures, how come Massu doesn't have one? But other than that, it was good. I was kind of shocked though to see underwear in one of Massu's favorites. I like the fact that he likes gyoza, I thought he [and all the other NEWS members] would hate it after being electricuted on Utaban while they were eating it. But, what are those turd looking like things?

Shige's: Shige's coaster can color is silver/gray and I like it because silver/gray, for me, represents someone who is mysterious, and that's who Shige is to me. He represents May and November. Shige's coasters were okay, not a big fan of it though, but, I did like the pic where his tummy is partially showing. I like his calendar pictures but I most especially love his side profile shots, I think that's Shige's good side, his side, maybe his face got influenced by the fact that he always sleeps on his side [XD]. And, his face seems shinier than everyone else's. So, Shige loves fried chicken, red fruits, and coffee. Like Yamapi, it's mostly food.

Tegoshi's: One of my fave NEWS members. His coaster can color is rainbowish, I have no idea what that means. He represents the months of June and December. I loved Tegoshi's coasters, it all showed his narcissistic personality. In fact, all of his pictures shows his narcissistic side. And because of that, I couldn't help but laugh when I was scanning through the "circles". One of Tegoshi's favorites show the beanie with a skull on it, even before I saw the calendar, I've kind of had an idea that it would be on it since he was wearing it in 90% of the practices in NEWS' Never Ending Wonderful Story Tour. It also has potato chips and curry, although I've tasted Indian style curry, I've always wanted to taste the Japanese style one, and seeing this picture just made me want it even more!

That's it, I really love the style of the calendar, it's very unique. Not like KAT-TUN's calendar that looks like my school agenda.

KAT-TUN Calendar 2008-2009

I just got it today! I'm so happy! Everyone who must've ordered it must've gotten it by now. I'm gonna comment on it so if you haven't gotten it and don't want to be spoiled. Go now. XD

I would like to remind you that these comments are my personal opinions.

The cover of the "notebook": I like the cover. I just don't approve of Ueda's pose. I love Ueda a lot he's my #1 KAT-TUN favorite but that face and pose was just totally... *sigh*. I also did not like Jin's hair on the cover, it really looks weird, it's like he's wearing a wig.

Group pics: I liked the group pics were good. I liked them. They weren't the best nor was it the worst.

Now let's go in order of KAT-TUN.

Kame's pictures: Kame's pictures were also good but they didn't create any impact to me at all. Cause for me, Kame already knows he's good looking so all he does is look at the camera. [Remember, my opinion.]. So, when I looked at his pictures, I felt as if he didn't exert any effort in the pics. This is my favorite Kame pic in the calendar because it reminded me of Naoto of ORANGE RANGE. As you can tell, I'm not really a big fan of Kame. But, I do like him though but not as much as the other members.

Jin's pics: In this calendar, I only loved one of his pics. Some of it didn't really strike me until I saw this one because, I think it was his eyes, they just really pierce you [Like Koyama's eyes in his pictures]. His eye bags in this picture looked really good for some reason and I liked his hair. Jin, by the way, is one of my favorite KAT-TUN members.

Taguchi's pics: Okay, this is gonna sound mean but, most of Taguchi's pictures were kind of gay. And, I think they made him to... uhmm... formal [?], it just doesn't suit his hilarious/stupid character that I love so much. In this picture, I'M NOT CALLING JUNNO FAT but what kind of photographer would pic this picture for the calendar?

Koki's pics: I ADORED Koki's pictures. I thought they were the best and it showed his personality a lot. To be honest with you, I fell in deeper love with Koki when I saw these pictures. He looked amazing in all of his pictures and even his background was amazing. That's all I can say for his calendar pics... it really was the best.

Ueda's pics: I looove Ueda a lot, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't even be into KAT-TUN. Although, I did prefer his hair last year when it was black and was a little bit longer and had the blonde underneath it. I'm still a little bit bothered with the fact that he keeps using his side profile though. But, I do love the boxing related pics. It was, yet, another show of a member's personality.

Last but not the least

Nakamaru's pics: I liked Nakamaru's pics. They were simple which also suits his personality. This was really my favorite...

Now, I can't wait for my Hey! Say! JUMP and NEWS calendars to arrive!

Yosuke Kubozuka

I wouldn't have gotten into Japanese dramas if it wasn't for Yosuke Kubozuka. I first saw him in GTO when my cousin gave me a CD filled with fansubbed shows. He starred as Kikuchi Yoshito in GTO.

I don't really know what I like about him. I just do. He just drags you in whenever you watch his dramas.

After watching GTO, I wanted to see him act more. So I decided to watch Strawberry on the Shortcake, in which he starred as Saeki Tatsuya. He won an award for Best Supporting Actor for this drama.

And then, I forgot about him, somehow. After 2 years of ORANGE RANGE, Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Crystal Kay, JE Boys, and more Jsingers, my cousin, the same one who gave me the DVD, showed me Ping Pong.

In Ping Pong he stars as the most adorable coconut shaped head boy in the world, Yutaka "Peco" Hoshino, therefore leading me to nickname my crush "peco" [Although my "peco" is nowhere near having a coconut shaped head.]

Then I watched Go, a movie about a zainichi [a Korean who is born and living in Japan], He falls in love with a Japanese girl but doesn't want to tell her that he is Korean because her father is a racist.

Now, after I finish watching my other dramas, I plan on watching Ikebukuro West Gate Park.

I think one of the reasons why I love him so much is because he works with JE boys and Oguri Shun [who also works with alot of JE boys]
